Isaac Newton's simple deduction
WHY NO MORE DEBATE OVER EVOLUTION
At least for me, that now is the case. Many years ago Isaac Newton was considered by many, if not most scientists, as the greatest intellect or genius that had ever lived. That all changed when his Christian "dark side" was revealed through his many uncovered writings. I read many of those writings on the internet a few years ago and now wish that I had saved them.
While he wrote more concerning the Bible than any other subject he said very little about the Theory of Evolution. It didn't seem to be worth his time to discuss at length, since to him it couldn't possibly be correct. He dismissed the theory in one sentence by pointing out that the symmetry of life and nature was IMPOSSIBLE to have occurred randomly. After that one simple, yet profound statement he proceeded on to other more important matters.
I pondered this concerning my own life. Since the late 1960s, for all the time that I had spent discussing or arguing about why the Theory of Evolution was the biggest deception in all of history, to my knowledge, I had changed at most the minds of only one or two people regarding the subject. See Romans 1: 18-25 for the Apostle Paul's viewpoint. So at that point, I decided to focus on how God communicates to His creation.
THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
To believers, there should be two primary questions regarding the cosmos. Is there a God and how does that God reveal Himself to His Creation? With the exception of this one page, the purpose of this website is to provide evidence concerning the latter. Furthermore, while there are many websites, books, and youtube videos that show the evidence that there is a God, there are very few that give the actual evidence and logic that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.
THE SEVEN IMPOSSIBILITIES WHICH EVOLUTION CANNOT EXPLAIN
I don't know if Newton discussed the following six concepts. These are much more compelling now with the new understanding of science regarding the complexity of the cell and DNA. Of course, one IMPOSSIBILITY was enough for Newton and should be for anyone else for that matter. But when it comes to close-minded and conceited atheists and evolutionists, overkill is necessary.
Two of the additional impossibIlitIes are double ones which exponentially magnify their impossibility if that is indeed possible. But beginning with Newton's one stated IMPOSSIBILITY they are:
1) Symmetry;
2) Origin of Flight;
3) Origin of Photosynthesis;
{{ 4) Origin of the "Simple cell, moreover at that same instant;
5) The capability of that same cell to divide itself, therefore becoming two individual cells.}}
{{6) Origin of one of the sexes; and at that same time and place;
7) Origin of the other sex.}}
MONK'S PARADOX
When considering the above double impossibilities of four through seven, it often reminds me of the detective TV series called "MONK". In one of the series episodes there was a case which involved a seemingly "impossible murder". This was "okay" with Monk until he learned that a few years earlier there had been an equally impossible murder in the same town. After some consideration, his classic response was "One impossible murder maybe, but two impossible murders, that is just not possible." This led him to suspect correctly that the coroner had faked the evidence. In our situation, the Creator would take the place of the coroner.
